- Micro-USB via an interface chip[1]
- Upload limits
- 512 KB flash, 128 KB RAM[3]
Upload limits are what a sketch or firmware may use after the bootloader, as the build tools enforce them, not the chip’s full memory.
Can I still use it?

Gotchas
- Edge-connector pins are shared. Several edge pins also drive the LED display and buttons; disable the display to use them as GPIO.[1]

History and use today
History
Released in October 2020, the v2 kept the same size and edge connector while adding sound, a microphone and far more memory.[1]
Still useful for
The standard classroom microcontroller in many countries, with MakeCode, Python and a large accessory ecosystem.
