Specifications
Can I still use it?
- Mainline Linux
- Supported[4]A device tree for this board is in the mainline kernel; features may still be missing.
As published by each project, checked weekly. A platform not listed has no published information here, which is not the same as no support.

Gotchas
- Stuck on an old Ubuntu. Official JetPack support for the Nano stopped at the 4.x series based on Ubuntu 18.04; newer CUDA and frameworks need the Orin generation.[1]
- Use the barrel jack for full power. Micro-USB power cannot supply the 10 W mode; a 5 V, 4 A barrel supply with the J48 jumper fitted can.[1]
History and use today
History
Announced at NVIDIA's GTC in March 2019, the Jetson Nano brought CUDA to a $99 board and started many makers on edge AI.[2]
Still useful for
Usable for older models and robotics coursework; the Jetson Orin Nano is its supported successor.
